January's Snowdrop - Progress

This photo does not do "January's Snowdrop" justice.  The colors are very pretty.  I am enjoying stitching this even though before I'd hardly started I had to frog out most of the flower on the upper left.  Stuff like that just serves to keep me humble!

February Primrose FINISH

The stitching is complete! I can't tell you how fun this pattern was. I loved every stitch!

I stitched it on Golden dyed Monaco with DMC threads since I didn't have the specialty floss in stash.

I really enjoyed this stitch and can't wait to see what others do with these patterns. I think I will finish these flat, with ribbon for hanging.

I've Joined the SAL

It appears as though 3/4 of the country is blanketed under several inches of snow, and Spring seems very far way.

As a show of support, I thought I'd begin stitching "January's Snowdrop".

I've got it all kitted up and am ready to begin stitching.

We have arrived!

My patterns and threads arrived in yesterday's mail. I have been working on and exchange piece and have not had the chance to look for all my fabric (which still needs to be found in all my boxes). Now I need to go thru my fabric to try to find a good match. I may just have to step out and find some new material (such a hardship I know).

Patterns Arrived!

I was so excited to receive my first patterns in this series. I rushed to my fabric stash and decided to start right away.

I will stitch February's flower first and will be using 28 count Monaco fabric in the color 'Golden Promise' by Sassys Fabbys. I'm still debating on whether to make a journal or pillows.
