March-SO CUTE!

I follow Cottage Garden Samplings on facebook and saw the pattern for March. SO CUTE! I'm getting even more excited about the series.

I'm planning on stitching them ALL and individually as little pillows. This SAL will be my flower garden! Daffodils are my favorite spring flower so this one really caught my attention.

I believe the series will be a fun stitch for beginners to seasoned stitchers. Please tell your friends to join in at any time or read along if they wish.

Limited time or funds?

We all know that our stitching time and funds are limited. Just stitch as you can and post progress when you can.

We want you here, reading and sharing. Perhaps if nothing else, you can post when you purchase a pattern, even if you don't have progress certain months.

I can't wait!

Welcome! Please read and sign up to join.

I adore Cottage Garden Samplings' designs. The designs are so 'happy' and fun. The new series of patterns released monthly is called My Garden Journal. Won't you join me and others in a stitch-a-long (SAL)?

GOAL: We will start our SAL as soon as we get our first patterns. Your goal will be to post your progress at the end of each month starting February 2013. Even if you aren't finished, post your progress anyway here AND on your blog.

WHERE TO BUY: You will be able to find your first patterns in stores and online soon. A personal recommendation: Check out http://beachcottagestitchers.com/  There you will find an easy auto-ship option with FREE SHIPPING in the US. It's being offered as a pattern only, or you can find packages with fabric and threads included. Easy and simple.

GIVEAWAY BONUS:  I'm going to give away a little something to one of our SAL sisters, perhaps in February 2014.

TO JOIN: In order for you to post here, I have to add you as an 'author'. Please email me at ruparanoid2 at yahoo dot com  with your email address so I can add you. Also, be sure to follow this blog to see updates. *

MORE: Be sure to mention this SAL on your blog and invite your friends. We all need a little fun and stitching encouragement so the more, the merrier. Remember, it's not about speed, it's about fun. No deadlines. No pressure.

I love the journal idea for a fun display but feel free to finish your project however you wish. I will likely do mine individually as small pillows. I can't wait to see every one's stitching!
